Mahalo Media is a digital reading platform that delivers AI-illustrated books to readers on every major device — iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, and the web. It is operated by Mahalo Power LLC, based in Fort Thomas, Arizona.
What We Do
Mahalo Media connects readers with illustrated books produced by independent authors using the Mahalopower Authors Platform. Every book available through Mahalo Media features original AI-generated illustrations, professional voice narration, and an interactive reading experience designed to work equally well for young readers and adults.
Our reader application is built to adapt to the content it carries. A children's illustrated story gets animated character layers, word-by-word narration highlighting, and large responsive text. A novel gets clean typography, user-selectable fonts and themes, and uninterrupted reading. The same application, purpose-built for both.
Our Approach to Reading
We believe the reading experience should serve the reader, not the platform. Mahalo Media is designed with that in mind:
- Books are purchased once and owned permanently — no subscription required to continue reading books you have bought
- Downloaded books are available offline, without a network connection
- Text is always live HTML — selectable, scalable, and accessible to screen readers — never baked into images
- Accessibility fonts including OpenDyslexic and Lexie Readable are bundled in the application and work offline
- Reading preferences — font, size, color theme, narration speed — are yours to set and are remembered across devices
- No advertising of any kind appears in the application
The Mahalopower Authors Platform
Books available through Mahalo Media are produced by independent authors using the Mahalopower Authors Platform at authors.mahalopower.com. The Authors Platform provides authors with AI illustration tools, voice narration production, and a complete book publishing pipeline. Mahalo Media is the reader-facing counterpart — the application through which readers purchase and experience the books authors create.
